The Dark Knight was very good. I found Heath Ledger's constant lip licking very disturbing. He was fantastic; so sad he died.

No Country for Old Men was completely entralling right up until the end. Typical Cohen bros ending, very odd. We went to see this at the Studio Movie Grill and I had a large frozen margarita at the beginning. Had to hold it all the way thru the movie because I didn't want to miss any to go pee! :)

Three others that are on my faves list:
Pan's Labyrinth
The Red Violin
Amelie (or, The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain)

All three just happen to be foreign films. It's good to watch them on DVD so you can "rewind" for missed dialogue.

I had to beg Steve to go see Pan's Labyrinth with me. We went right after work one afternoon and we were the only people in the whole theater. It was magical and sad and really good. Now it's one of his favorites!

Amelie is quirky, cute and romantic. Just makes me feel happy to watch that one every once in a while. :)

I have heard wonderful things about all those movies, Carla. I think I need a Thursday Thirty to make a complete 'Want to See' list. Ha!
