Poor Solomon. A friend lied to him today. He said it's the first time anyone has ever lied to him and his feelings are really hurt.
I've been told that it only gets harder to be a parent as your children grow older. This is one of the reasons that is true.

that almost made me cry. I hate seeing when a little piece of the innocence slips away.
He's learning a valuable lesson. This 'friend' has lied to him twice more. He finally announced the other day that he was no longer friends with this person. I told him that was fine; there is no need to be friends with someone who is dishonest.
